Anthony earned an B.A. from Vassar College ('78). He worked at IBM (which is headquartered in no other city than our very own Poughkeepsie!), Yankee Group Inc.,* and Concord Data Systems, Inc.** He then formed AMR Research, a research and industry analysis firm which sold for $64 million in 2009. Anthony and his wife bought a three-bedroom home in Carnegie Hill for $2.3 million. He serves as a senior advisor at Carter Morse & Mathias, a regional investment banking and financial advisory firm, and makes political contributions including $9,600 to Barack Obama and $2,000 to Republican candidate Rick Lazio, a fellow Vassar graduate supported by the New York Conservative Party.
